Impact Resistant Blinds Between Glass
Impact-resistant glass is designed specifically for severe weather and high wind areas, including Florida's Wind-borne Debris Region and High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) and Texas' Gulf Coast Area. It meets the impact resistance codes and requirements of Florida, Texas, and the Department of Defense, among others. The patented white impact rated uPVC frame adds strength to your door, and the impact-resistant laminated glass on the exterior and tempered safety glass on the interior can contribute to the secure feeling you'll experience when the winds start howling! Thermally sealed glass is insulated for air- and water-tight performance. It also adds a level of noise suppression. Because they're protected between glass, enclosed blinds retain their 'like new' look over time and with repeated use. They stay clean and free of damage from kids, pets, and anything else that might come into contact with your doorglass. No dusting, no tangled or dangling cords, and no crimped or dented blinds. With our Light-Touch Blinds, a single-touch control lets you choose the perfect light or privacy level. The ergonomically considered design places the fingertip control within easy reach to tilt, raise, and lower blinds the entire length of the doorglass"”with only the slightest movement required. This door glass kit is designed to fit a wide variety of exterior side windows (side lights) manufactured by Therma Tru, Masonite, Jeld-Wen, PlastPro and many others. This kit can be used to replace existing glass in a side window and contains 1 insulated glass panel, 1 door glass frame set, 1 pack of specially designed screws, and screw cover strips. The door glass frame set consists of 1 inner and 1 outer impact rated uPVC frame. The outer frame has an air and water tight, factory applied seal that bonds the frame to the glass.
