This kit contains 1 insulated glass panel, 1 door glass frame set, 1 pack of specially designed screws, and 1 pack of screw covers. The door glass frame set consists of 1 inner and 1 outer high performance, molded plastic frame. The outer frame has an air and water tight, factory applied seal that bonds the frame to the glass. Low-E glass failed after 8 years. (Glass looked like spattered water spots and a solid line where strings from blind “imprinted” on the glass. All markings were on the enclosed part of the double-paned glass.)
Customer service responded quickly and advised failure of Low-E glass was not common. Per terms of Warranty, Zabitat offered a replacement at a 60% discount plus $50 shipping fee.
Of course, I’m not a fan of the 10-year warranty limitations…if your product can last 10 years, stand by it w/a 100% replacement or decrease the warranty period. I also don’t appreciate having to pay to have a product shipped a second time.
Installation was fairly straight-forward.
The shipment visited a lot of locations and I was worried I was going to get a box of broken glass. It arrived in one piece. I took by glass out and found my insert was a little different. I was able to router out the door a little and got it to fit. If you have any questions I would take the inside trim off and take a pic and send it to them to see if it would fit easily. All and all I and happy with it and order 2 more for my other doors
Received shipment as promised on the date promised. Installation was easy and painless. This definitely added better functionality to a door with plain glass. I highly recommend this company and its products.
This was a replacement for a unit where the internal blind mechanism failed. Once I reached the right person the process went very well. Not sure what failed in the blind but I am happy with unit.
There was a problem with the glass staying in place but we got it figured out. It would be good if the outside section was held on with out screws until you can add the screws on the inside part
This was a replacement for the insert that was shattered by lawn crew. The door and insert were installed by Power Home Remodeling six years ago. Their service team provided me with the link and correct item number to order from Zabitat. It was installed today and it's a perfect fit. Holes all lined up perfectly and the installers were able to reuse my exterior trim which was a different color from the interior.
The box was open on both ends. Many of the long side brads were open. I was concerned about the welfare of the window. After opening the box, the window appeared to be in good shape.
Love having the in window blinds! Worst part of installation was the plastic plugs on the frame. Installation was relatively easy. Recommend doing it with two people off the frame. We used the packing box to support the frame while installing. Plan on purchasing a second set.
Plus - The product looks good after installation and works fine.
Minus - Except for the 6-8 screws that were in the frame when it arrived, no screws were provided for the installation. Luckily, I was able to use the screws from the old door glass frame since they were almost an exact match. Also, the exterior plastic frame part was bent somewhat so the screw slots for the interior and exterior frames were difficult to align. The exterior frame looked like it was poorly assembled and/or designed.
This was a superb find. I saw an ad on FB page and did my research. It saved me hundreds of dollars and made my doors more energy efficient. Easy to install for those with minimal DYI skills.
Looks sleek and best of all the blinds give me privacy.

I thought i needed to replace my entire door to repair my window with the defective blinds. Not knowing the manufacture no local distributor was willing to assist me. Lucky for me i stumbled across Zabitat. I measured twice and ordered my replacement window. While they stated a longer delivery time i received the replacement window in just days. It arrived packed professionally and securely without damage. The included instructions were easy to follow and in less than an hour my wife and i had the new window installed and you could not tell there was ever a problem with the door. Excellent craftsmanship throughout. The slide has positive stops that prevent over stressing the strings inside window that the original did not have. I am sure this will extend the life of the shade. I highly recommend Zabitat for your replacement window needs.

I absolutely love my new glass insert I installed into my existing solid door. It was easy to do, everything worked as it should and it just fell into place. The cost was great compared to having to buy a brand new door! It has added so much light to our living room.

These were a wonderful addition to my home. I installed them with my wife with ease. I did use a small, cordless impact driver with the screws. Make sure you inspect them at time of delivery as some were damaged in shipping; Zabitat turned around a small miracle, quickly however. Great company!
